ComiCon has all wrapped up for another year. It was amazing seeing the spectrum of nerds and geeks gathering together in one magnificent double rainbow. From movies, TV, video games, toys and of course Comics! Everyone was there showing off what’s new and what’s stood the test of time. This year I saw more mashup cosplay characters than I can ever remember. I would say the creativity of mashup cosplay would be my favorite of the show this year. The best ones were the people that made their own costumes, the skill and hard work they put in was amazing.
I brought Lil’G Mini Boombox along to get pics with as many characters as possible. Just seeing Darth Vader with a boombox made me all giddy inside like the geek that I am.

This here, is “Hello City”!!!
This is the first of many sketches that I am trying to bring to life. She was created while I was sitting at a job briefing, bored out of my head. I first sketched her around 2009. Later I picked up a new hobby, Sculpting. Somewhere along the line, I got the idea to begin sculpting my sketches. Hello City is the First of many that I plan to turn into figures/ Designer Toys.
All that is Hip Hop is a part of her being. The B-boy, the Street Art, the Culture, wrapped up and given a face.
It’s safe to say, Project City is nearing the final stage. All I really need now is funding. She is a 5.5 inch figure that comes in 3 different variations as you will be able to see here and in my art blog, and at the moment I am trying to raise $6,300 to have her put into production.
